How to Build a Neighborhood Play Group

One of the best additions to your new routine neighborhood mother's group or play group. Meeting other mothers and children is good for both you and your child, especially in your neighborhood, it is. These relationships last a lifetime and an opportunity to discuss mutual concerns or questions can provide. They reduce isolation, to normalize their experiences, and increase the possibilities of sharing.

Try these tips:





Get involved in your homeowner association and volunteer for an activity with which to engage children. This further increases your chances of making new friendships.

* If you have a community pool or a YMCA, it is to travel to meet some other mothers and children.
